When your earnings go up, your rent normally goes up too. In FSS, that increase goes into an escrow savings account instead — so working more actually builds your savings. Graduate the program and the money is yours.

Who can join

FSS is open to families participating in the Housing Choice Voucher program or living in HOME public housing. Enrollment is free and participation never puts your housing assistance at risk.
